The Success Formula LLC ("The Success Formula," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, book or purchase coaching services, or otherwise interact with The Success Formula.
By using the website or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Our Terms & Conditions describe the terms on which our services are offered.
1. Information We Collect
What we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Contact information. When you send us a message through the website contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the subject and content of your message, along with any phone number or other details you choose to include.
Booking information. When you book a coaching service, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, the service you selected, the goals or focus areas you describe in the booking form, how you heard about us (if you tell us), and the date and time you accepted our Terms & Conditions.
Information you share for coaching. During sessions, or when preparing for them, you may share information about your goals, challenges, preferences, and circumstances. Section 2 explains how this information is treated.
Transaction information. For each purchase we keep a record of the service purchased, the amount and currency, the payment method used, the payment status, and reference identifiers issued by the payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Referral information. When you arrive at the website from an advertisement, a campaign link, or another website, the booking form may record the campaign parameters in that link, the page you landed on, and the domain of the website that referred you. This is stored with your booking so we can understand how clients find us.
Technical information. Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider may record technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of access. Payment-related requests handled by the website are also logged together with the IP address they came from.
We do not ask you to create an account, and the website does not offer file uploads to visitors.
2. Information You Provide During Coaching
Coaching is a personal process. Clients often choose to share information about personal goals, career, finances, health and fitness goals, mindset, confidence, relationships, habits, or lifestyle. Sharing this information is your choice, and you should share only what is reasonably necessary for the coaching relationship.
We handle information shared during coaching with care and use it only to provide and improve our coaching services to you. The Success Formula provides coaching and personal-development services; we are not a medical, mental-health, legal, tax, or investment professional, and information you share with us is not protected by the professional privileges that apply to those relationships.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- provide and administer coaching services;
- arrange, confirm, and manage appointments;
- process purchases and payments and keep transaction records;
- communicate with you about your bookings, payments, and services;
- respond to your questions and requests;
- maintain customer and service records;
- understand how clients find us and improve the website and our services;
- maintain the security of the website and prevent misuse;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not currently send marketing newsletters. If we introduce marketing communications in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide a way to opt out.
4. Appointments and Coaching Services
Information you submit when booking is used to schedule and confirm your session, communicate any changes, provide the service you purchased, maintain booking and transaction records, and support you with any questions about your booking.
Booking confirmations and payment notifications are sent by email to the address you provide. These service messages are necessary to deliver what you purchased and are sent regardless of any marketing preference.
5. Payment Processing
Online payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you pay online you are taken to a secure checkout page hosted by Stripe, where Stripe collects your payment-card and billing information directly. Stripe processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
The Success Formula receives and keeps limited transaction information from the payment provider: the payment status, the amount and currency, the payment method, and the transaction and reference identifiers Stripe issues for the payment. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
Where an offline payment method such as bank transfer is offered, we keep a record of the amount due and the payment status so that we can confirm your booking once payment arrives.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work: a session cookie, a security token that protects forms against forgery, and a cookie that remembers your cookie preferences. These cookies do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising.
When you first visit the website, a cookie banner lets you choose whether optional analytics or marketing cookies may be used. At present the website does not set any analytics or marketing cookies, so declining them changes nothing about your experience; the choice is recorded so that it can be honored if such technologies are introduced later.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website, such as the booking form, from working.
7. Analytics and Advertising
The website does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, or any other analytics or advertising technology, and it does not use targeted advertising or retargeting.
If we enable an analytics or advertising tool in the future, it will only run for visitors who have accepted the corresponding cookie category, and we will update this Privacy Policy to describe it.
8. Email and Service Communications
We send emails that are needed to provide our services: booking confirmations, payment notifications, and replies to your messages. These are sent to the email address you give us and are not marketing.
We do not currently operate a marketing email list or newsletter. If you receive a message from us and have a question about it, please contact us through the website.
9. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only where it is reasonably necessary to run our business, for example with:
- Stripe, to process online payments;
- the companies that host our website and deliver our email;
- contractors or professional advisers who support our business operations and are bound to keep your information confidential;
- courts, regulators, or law enforcement where the law requires or permits it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of The Success Formula, our clients, or others;
- a successor business, as described in Section 18.
Because the website does not use advertising technologies, we do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.
10. Third-Party Service Providers
The third parties that process information on our behalf do so under their own terms and privacy policies. At present these are Stripe (payment processing) and the providers that host the website and send our email. We choose providers that offer appropriate protections for personal information and share only the information they need to perform their service.
11. Third-Party Links
The website may contain links to websites or services that The Success Formula does not control, such as a map link to our location or the websites of organizations we mention. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of independent third parties, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you choose to use.
12. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate interests. Booking and payment records are kept for the period required for accounting and tax purposes. Contact-form messages are kept while we handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward.
You may ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep; see Section 14.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, including transmitting website traffic over an encrypted connection, restricting administrative access to the website, and relying on Stripe's secure hosted checkout so that card details never pass through our systems.
No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
14. Your Privacy Choices
You can:
- ask us to update or correct the contact details we hold for you;
- ask what personal information we hold about you and, where we are not required to keep it, ask us to delete it;
- manage cookies through the website's cookie banner and your browser settings;
- choose not to provide optional information in the booking or contact forms.
To make a request, contact us through the website (see Section 20). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
15. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights concerning access to, correction of, deletion of, or other treatment of your personal information. Some of these rights apply only when a business meets certain legal thresholds or other conditions are met.
If you would like to exercise a privacy right that you believe applies to you, please contact us using the details in Section 20. We will review your request and respond as required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
16. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
The Success Formula does not sell personal information in exchange for money, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. The website does not use advertising cookies, pixels, or retargeting.
If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by applicable law before doing so.
17. Children's Privacy
Our website and coaching services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not intentionally offer coaching services through this website to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.
18. Business Transfers
If The Success Formula undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information we hold may be transferred to the successor as part of that transaction, as permitted by applicable law. The successor will remain bound by the commitments in this Privacy Policy unless you are notified otherwise.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, practices, technologies, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
